    G Cenedella, Counseling Intern

Hey there and welcome! My name is G Cenedella (they/them) and I’m a Master’s level counseling intern from Antioch University working under the supervision of Denise Daly.

I am a nonbinary, queer, white, straight-sized, disabled individual and I bring those identities, and more, with me in the counseling room. When I’m not working in the counseling space, I teach yoga, spend time creating in my art studio, play in nature, and prioritize connections with loved ones. I hope this brief location of self helps you feel empowered to bring yourself and your many identities and interests into session, as well.

I’m so honored to do the heart-centered work of counseling. I believe in the power of an authentic, transparent and connected therapeutic relationship where your voice, creative expression and body’s inner knowing are prioritized, trusted and strengthened. My work with clients comes from a queer, narrative, somatic and relational-cultural lens. I strive to be present with an open, warm, curious and nonjudgmental approach with clients.

I recognize that we all live, love and work within systems and relationships, and that it’s important to make space to examine those elements in the counseling work. I believe that we heal within relational contexts, whether it’s our internal relationship with self and parts, our connection with the natural world, a therapist, friend, chosen or bio families, ancestors and wider communities.

I am open to meeting with all individuals, and have a special interest in working with teens, LGBTQIA2S+ identifying people, those navigating trauma and/or grief, and individuals exploring identity and relational work, such as racial, gender, sexuality, religion, body liberation, polyamory and expansive relational structures, etc.

At this point in time, I’m able to work with clients who have insurance through Medicaid, BCBS or are able to do self-pay.
