Hinesburg Counseling Collaborative is more than a shared office space. We are a community of independent clinicians, pre-licensed professionals, graduate interns, and allied mental health providers who value collaboration, professional growth, and increasing access to quality mental health care in our community.
There are several ways to become part of HCC depending on your professional needs and stage of practice.
Professional Affiliation
HCC affiliation is designed for independently practicing clinicians who would like to be connected to our professional community without necessarily renting office space at HCC.
Affiliation may include:
- A professional profile on the HCC website
- Access to HCC referrals and our community waitlist
- Participation in HCC peer consultation and clinical supervision meetings 2x/monthly
- Opportunities for collaboration with other HCC clinicians
- Connection to HCC groups, workshops, and community programming
- Priority access to group or meeting space when available
Off-site professional affiliation: $150/month
Affiliation is included for clinicians who rent full-time office space at HCC.
Clinical Supervision & Supervised Billing
HCC provides clinical supervision and supervised billing opportunities for pre-licensed mental health clinicians working toward independent licensure.Our goal is to offer more than administrative billing oversight. Supervisees become part of a collaborative clinical environment with access to consultation, mentorship, referrals, administrative support, and opportunities to develop their independent professional identity.
Supervised billing may include:
- Clinical supervision
- Peer consultation and group supervision
- Supervised billing with participating insurance companies
- Claims and billing support
- Access to HCC's electronic health record system
- Access to HCC referrals and waitlist
- Professional profile on the HCC website when affiliated
- Collaboration and consultation with experienced clinicians
- Opportunities to participate in HCC programming and professional development
HCC currently offers both part-time and full-time supervised billing arrangements. Fees vary based on caseload, supervision needs, affiliation, and office use.Please contact us for current availability and fee information.
Graduate Internships
Training the next generation of mental health professionals is an important part of HCC's mission.
HCC offers clinical internship placements for graduate students completing master's-level training in mental health counseling and related fields.Interns have opportunities to develop a clinical caseload while receiving supervision and participating in the larger HCC professional community. Depending upon the placement and university requirements, experiences may include:
- Individual counseling
- Group work and community programming
- Individual and group supervision
- Peer consultation
- Case conceptualization and treatment planning
- Documentation and ethical practice
- Exposure to insurance and private-practice systems
- Collaboration with licensed and pre-licensed clinicians
Because HCC invests significantly in training and building an intern's caseload, we generally prioritize students who can make a sustained commitment to their placement and meet the clinical-hour expectations of their graduate program.
Internship availability varies by semester and supervisory capacity.
Office Space
HCC periodically has professional office space available for licensed mental health clinicians and other compatible wellness professionals.Depending on the rental arrangement, amenities may include:
- Private professional office space that can be personalized
- Inclusion in the HCC professional community
- Website profile and referral opportunities
- Peer consultation
- Waiting area and staff space
- Group therapy and workshop space
- Wi-Fi and office equipment
- Ample parking
- Snow, landscaping, and garbage removal
- Opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration
Full-time office rental includes HCC professional affiliation.

Who Might Be a Good Fit?
We are particularly interested in professionals who value collaboration while maintaining the autonomy of independent practice.
HCC welcomes clinicians with diverse specialties and approaches and is especially interested in expanding services that meet unmet needs in our community, including services for children, adolescents, families, couples, older adults, and other populations who may have difficulty finding appropriate care locally.We value clinicians who are thoughtful, ethical, collaborative, inclusive, and interested in contributing to a supportive professional community.
