Erin Mackenzie, MSW

I work with people to untangle the intricate threads of their experiences and reimagine possibilities. My approach helps develop a curiosity and self-awareness practice, inviting you to explore more liberating ways of thinking, being, and relating. Through deep listening and compassionate inquiry, I will gently guide you to embrace uncertainty and the embodied present as valuable pathways in understanding your journey and navigating the dynamics of power, connection, and safety within your body.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to the process, acting as a dynamic, co-created space where emotional safety and mutual respect form the foundation for insight. I draw on Strengths-Based, Restorative, Somatic, and Narrative frameworks, with a commitment to relational justice. Creativity is also encouraged through humor, metaphor, or expressive arts.

As a lifelong learner and curious thinker, I find inspiration in the mysteries of interdependence and the poetic complexity of life. My journey is shaped by a graduate degree in Transformative Social Work from the University of Vermont, as well as a professional background in visual design and art direction, both of which inform my perspective.
